It's not horrendous, but we don't know your level of sensitivity on a scale to 10. If you suspect you're over a 4, don't get it. Between the leather and the rear metal frame, spray some kind of lubrication, even the much-maligned (in the bike world) WD-40. If that doesn't work, add a drop of oil or great to the tension bolt by the nose. The part that touchs other metal.
